It relies on zero-knowledge proofs to enable validator blind selection: nodes prove that they have the right to produce blocks, but the outside world cannot know in advance who the next block producer will be. Since front-running bots can’t find a target, sandwich attacks are difficult to carry out. Compared with Ethereum PBS, even if you split the builder and proposer, validator identities are public, and they can still be bribed in a targeted way.
