【The whole market is afraid—why isn’t it selling off?】

The most common line in the groups these past few days is: “The market is so bad—who would dare to buy?”

Honestly, I’ve been wondering too.

Fear & Greed Index is 31—panic everywhere. I’ve been watching Binance’s version of that index for days; every time I open it, it’s 😨. But have you noticed—

SUI hasn’t dropped.

In the last 24 hours: +0.3%. Over a week: only -2%. In today’s market, this is called taking a hit—understand?

BTC’s dominance at 56.2% is still pushing higher. The signal that capital is huddling together is already obvious. All the remaining liquidity has squeezed into BTC, and other coins can only watch their “blood” being drained.

But SUI is holding steady.

Do you know what that means? When the market is afraid, good chips don’t need to rise—they just need not to fall, and that alone is proof.

But here’s the question—

Holding steady is one thing. It doesn’t necessarily mean it can surge. The time I got cut in 2017, I took “it didn’t fall” to mean “it’s going to rise.” What happened? It went sideways for three days, and on the fourth it just dumped right in front of you.

Now at 0.653915 support and 0.694634 resistance, there’s only this much room. It’s a consolidation range—direction hasn’t been chosen yet.

The difference this time is—

SUI has already fallen 87% from the peak. The ones who should have been shaken out already were. The rest are either “diamond hands” or people who just came in to pick up the wreckage. Wreckage-pickers have a trait: they’re not afraid of the drop—they’re afraid that once they pick it up, nobody will take it off their hands.

So the real issue isn’t “is this position safe,” but “is someone going to show up later to catch it.”

On fundamentals, I haven’t seen anything major from SUI. The ecosystem is still the way it is. A drop of 87%—either the bubble was inflated too much, or the fundamentals really changed. I don’t yet have the ability to tell which one.

But one thing I can say for sure—

At an FNG node like this with 31, if you’re still in it, it means you never planned to leave. What you can do is—wait.

Wait for what? Wait for volume, wait for direction to emerge, wait for the answer to “why it doesn’t follow the dip.”

As for me? My hands are itchy, but the cost from my last itch hasn’t been paid off yet.

What’s your mindset right now? Still on the ride, or just watching the show?
