Many friends who play meme coins always like to see the price drop by a large margin and rush in to buy the dip, believing that after it breaks to a new low, a reversal and rebound will come immediately. But if you compare the one-hour and four-hour charts and look carefully, you’ll find that the price keeps setting new lows one after another. Each minor bounce does not have the strength to continue; the rebound is only a brief correction, not really a reversal signal. For intraday trading, it’s safer to prioritize trading in the direction of the downtrend by looking for shorts.
Hourly chart logic

The hourly trend is very clear: the lows are continually being refreshed, and after brief rebounds, the price quickly comes under pressure and moves lower again. Price is consistently tightly suppressed by the short-term moving averages. Every time a rebound approaches the moving average level, sell orders gather and surge in, and the bulls have absolutely no ability to hold above the moving averages. The current minor rebound is just the market catching its breath during a decline, not a signal that funds have entered to buy the dip. The bearish momentum hasn’t fully been released yet—so at the current price, you can directly set up a short position.
Four-hour chart logic

Switch to looking at the long cycle: the overall downward trend has been fully established, and the moving average system shows a complete bearish alignment. Each rebound’s high continues to step down; even if there is a small-level rebound, it won’t reach the intermediate-term moving averages before turning back down again. A large amount of trapped capital is sitting overhead. As long as there is no high-volume reversal signal, continuing to probe the lows is more likely to be the intraday scenario, and short positions also have decent room for error.
One-hour and four-hour timeframes are aligned bearishly, and the short-term market is clearly biased to weakness. The most common mistake when trading meme coins is judging the bottom by how much it has fallen—thinking that if it dropped enough, it won’t fall again. The market won’t give the longs a chance just because the drop was severe. Don’t fantasize about catching the bottom and a big reversal; simply and honestly trade the intraday downtrend pullback swings in line with the current direction. Position size must be controlled, and stop-losses must be executed strictly. Trading based on the actual signals from the chart is far more reliable than subjectively guessing the bottom.
Step-by-step exit execution approach
Don’t keep thinking you should wait for a higher rebound before going short. The market bulls are extremely weak right now, and there may be no chance for a major bounce. Waiting endlessly can easily cause you to miss this leg of the selloff. Enter a short position directly at market price to capture the current bearish momentum. When price reaches the first take-profit level, close 70% of the position first to lock in most of the profit; keep the remaining 30% to aim for the second take-profit target. Even if a small pullback/whipsaw happens along the way, you still hold profitable exposure and won’t have your overall plan disrupted by short-term fluctuations. Once price hits the second take-profit level, exit the entire position immediately. Since the price is nearing potential support below, the downward speed will most likely slow; don’t get greedy on the short-term and try to capture the entire move down—take your own swing profit and then decisively stop. If price breaks upward through the stop-loss level, you must cut your loss and exit promptly. Don’t stubbornly hold and tough it out. This level is the line that separates short-term strength and weakness: if the break above is valid, it means the bearish thesis has failed and the market will enter a rebound/repair phase.$PEPE $BTC $PORTAL #COW24小时上涨55.77%
