Generation Z has become the main audience for prediction markets

🕯 Prediction markets are gaining popularity among young Americans. According to a survey by The New Consumer and Coefficient Capital, 31% of respondents consider this sector part of future culture.

📈 Awareness is higher among Generation Z and millennials (17% know about Polymarket and Kalshi), while among Generation X and older, the figure does not exceed 5%.

🔼 In the incomplete January, the turnover of prediction platforms exceeded $10 billion. Leading are Kalshi ($3+ billion), Opinion ($2.8 billion), and Polymarket ($2.7 billion).

📊 The sector attracts large investors: Kalshi is valued at $11 billion, Polymarket at $9 billion, and is preparing a new round.
