I usually start with the architecture before looking at the token or ecosystem. With Dusk Network, the first thing that caught my attention was how much of the design seems centered around privacy for financial applications.

I initially misunderstood the idea of a privacy blockchain here. I thought it was mainly about making transactions hidden, but the documentation points toward something broader: confidential smart contracts and the Confidential Security Contract (XSC) standard.

That changed how I looked at Dusk.

The interesting question for me is not simply, “Can a blockchain keep data private?” It’s more like: how do you build financial applications where some information needs to remain confidential while the underlying system can still enforce rules?

That seems to be the core problem Dusk is trying to approach as a Layer-1.#dusk

I’m still trying to understand how XSC actually behaves in more complex financial workflows. What information stays confidential, what can be verified publicly, and how does that balance work in practice?

Maybe I’m missing an important architectural detail, so that’s what I want to dig into next rather than jumping to conclusions.$DUSK @Dusk
