Interesting—CHIP today was unusually quiet and still surged 8.3%.

For those who are holding a position, today should be a relatively comfortable day—though the real test comes after the comfort.

CHIP’s current price is 0.029000, up 8.3% over the past 24 hours, with an intraday range of 17.1%. Trading volume is only 19.9M. Compared with usual, the volume is even lower, and the funding participation behind the price increase doesn’t look very strong.

What’s worth noting is that today CHIP’s trading value suddenly expanded to 19.9M, which is unusual among similar coins. The flow of funds is something to keep an eye on.

For coins like CHIP, where liquidity is relatively thin, price swings can be fairly random when volume is insufficient.

In terms of levels, the support zone from 0.027402 to 0.027320 is key. If that level is not broken, you can observe first. On the upside, 0.031904—once there’s a valid breakout—may reopen room for the market to move.

Price is rising, but volume hasn’t caught up. This wave of participation is worth questioning. I’m not feeling very confident, so I’m mostly watching from the sidelines.

After a one-day spike like this, the next day’s volume change is the most important. An uptrend on declining volume suggests the chips are stable; but if volume expands as price moves downward, be careful about a possible “borrow the move to distribute” rhythm.
