You know, there are different levels of pain in cryptocurrencies. Level 1 — when you bought a coin and it dropped 10%. Level 100 — when you bought Algorand (ALGO) back in the distant 2021, when everyone was shouting about the altseason, and you decided it was the future technology with a wonderful Pure PoS consensus.
A day went by. ALGO dropped.
“It’s nothing,” I thought. “This is just a correction.”
A month passed. ALGO fell even harder.
“This is the bottom right now!” I exclaimed—and bought more. “If only I’d known then that this ‘bottom’ isn’t a solid surface, but a black abyss named ‘Bear Market’.”
And today I open my wallet to order at least a pizza for myself, and I see numbers that make you want to throw your phone out the window. -88%. This isn’t just a drop—it’s a total knockout. My portfolio looks like someone ate it.
I decided to call Uncle Scrooge McDuck for advice. He peeped out of his golden vault, looked at my empty crypto wallet, and... started crying. For the first time in 80 years. Uncle Scrooge told me: “Son, I swam in money and diamonds, but a fall of 88%—I wouldn’t even survive that. You sold my soul for this chart!”
So now it’s just you and me, ALGO. The choice was made, and that choice was... a failure. 🦆💸
