The Dusk narrative about “bringing financial markets on-chain” sounds ambitious, but the direction is fairly reasonable.

They’re not just talking about general RWA tokenization—they’re trying to collaborate with licensed institutions in Europe, such as NPEX. The goal is for the assets moved on-chain to have a route that’s closer to the actual regulatory framework.

In my opinion, this approach is more mature than many RWA projects that tend to be marketing-heavy. Dusk seems to understand that major institutions need certainty around compliance, settlement, and legal responsibility—not just privacy or technology.

But here’s the criticism. Cooperation with licensed institutions is great on paper, yet execution is usually slow. There’s a risk that the partnership becomes mostly announcements, while the product that users can truly use still takes time to arrive. On top of that, competition in the regulated RWA sector is getting increasingly crowded.

Personally, I appreciate Dusk’s more institutional and cautious direction. But the big promise about on-chain financial markets will only be proven if the product is genuinely used—not merely announced.
