This world still got turned into something unrecognizable to me!
Who would have thought that a poorly performing, crudely made domestic animated film—of all things—would trigger a speculative frenzy worth tens of millions in the cryptocurrency market.

The domestic animated film “Niu Lai” landed on the trending list for being “so bad it went viral.” At the same time, a meme coin also named “Niu Lai,” with no official ties to the film, was being wildly hyped on the BNB Chain—rising more than 100 times within 24 hours, and its market cap at one point even exceeded $29 million. Meanwhile, at that time, the film’s cumulative box office after 10 days of release was only RMB 7,000; now it has already surpassed RMB 3 million.
Between the film’s box office and the meme coin’s market cap, there is an exaggerated mismatch of over 3,000 times. Without mincing words, the people who bought this coin early on have already made enough profit to buy the entire movie.
Within 24 hours of launch, the “Niu Lai” coin’s price surged by more than 100 times, peaking at 150 times. Its market cap rapidly climbed from zero to the $26 million–$30 million range. On-chain data shows that an address bought in at a cost of $121.4; within two days, its paper gains reached as high as 2,315 times—turning $121 into a $280,000 legend.
