I scrolled through the list of features #bStocksCIS and almost missed the line about corporate events—it sounds like a technical detail for people who already know everything.
On closer inspection: dividends and splits are handled automatically, without manually tracking each event for every security. With a regular brokerage account, I’m used to keeping an eye on dates myself and deciding what to do with each corporate news item.
On paper, the savings are small—just a couple of minutes per event.
But if I have not just one position in my portfolio, but a dozen, those “couple of minutes” for each one turn into a separate routine task during the week that you simply don’t need to do anymore. A small thing that actually works at scale, not for just one trade.
