Can law enforcement seize my bStocks?
When I bought bStocks, I had a question: what will happen to them if law enforcement becomes interested in my assets?
For example, if bStocks remain on Binance, and the transactions are linked to suspicious activity, the exchange may suspend withdrawals, freeze the account, or not allow transfers to a specific address. Binance also cooperates with law enforcement agencies during investigations.
And what happens if I have already withdrawn bStocks to my own wallet?
This does not provide complete protection. Binance states that for bStocks, certain addresses may be blocked due to violations of legislation, sanctions requirements, or smart contract rules.
For example, tokens may remain in the wallet, but problems may arise with moving them afterward.
Another scenario involves funds associated with fraud or money laundering. In this case, the transaction history on the blockchain may become part of an investigation, and transactions involving assets may be restricted.
At the same time, blocking an account or address is not the same as confiscation. Legal seizure depends on the specific case and the country’s laws.
