$HEMI +95.27% and $COW +75% already made a strong move ๐Ÿ‘€ now the real question is another pump or a sharp dump next? What do you think? ๐Ÿ“ˆ๐Ÿ“‰

i find DUSKโ€™s token design more interesting when I separate staking from actual network activity.

DUSK is used for both staking and transaction fees. Those two uses don't mean the same thing. Staking is tied to securing the network, while gas is directly connected to people actually using the chain and executing transactions.

There is another piece worth watching. Dusk's current model has 500 million initial DUSK and another 500 million scheduled to be emitted over 36 years for staking rewards. Transaction fees also become part of block rewards.

So, there are really two economic signals here. One comes from participation in network security. The other comes from applications creating transactions and paying for execution.

That makes me think token utility should be judged by what people are actually doing with the network, not just by how many functions appear on a tokenomics page.

If Dusk's financial applications grow over time, I would be curious to see whether transaction fees become a more visible part of the network's economics alongside staking.
