Just took a look at the data—there’s something going on.

The $BTC is stuck around 63140, oscillating up and down. The intraday range is only 0.4%, and the volume is just 0.36 hundred million—so cold and quiet it’s like the market is shut off.

Neither the bulls nor the bears seem to have much conviction. The funding rate of 0.001 suggests both retail traders and market makers are basically “playing dead.” But the funding rates for these small coins—COW, ACE, and WAL—are all negative. The shorts are pressing down over there. This kind of divergence signal doesn’t look right—maybe the main players are propping up BTC, waiting for the small-cap coins to break down first.

In the short term, I’m slightly bearish. If 62800 breaks, I’m looking at 62000–62500. Resistance is at 63400; only a breakout there would be interesting.

I placed a long order around 62900, with a stop-loss at 62600. The position size is small—I’m just testing the direction.

When the market is flat with little movement, it’s the easiest to get fooled—don’t let the sideways chop trick your eyes.
