XRP is moving around within a 1-yuan range, and the news is scorching hot—yet the price shows no reaction.
Recently it’s been all good news—institutional ETF holdings, Trump is set to meet with the crypto industry next week, and KOL sentiment is also running very high. With this kind of atmosphere, the price should have already moved up.
But it’s just stuck below 1.01. Even more important, the spot capital has actually been flowing out over the past three hours—almost none of the 15-minute candles along the way were net inflows. Open interest is at a low level and it even added about 6%, but the price won’t budge—this combination is usually not a good sign.
When good news doesn’t translate into price follow-through, it usually means sell pressure above is heavier than expected, and money actually retreats first while sentiment is hottest. The bulls are currently propping things up on expectations—the positioning isn’t that strong.
Technically, it’s still a daily-level bearish structure, with price sitting below the 10-, 50-, and 200-day moving averages. It is oversold—suggesting there may be limited room to keep dumping—but that doesn’t mean it can be pulled back up immediately.
So I won’t chase here. A breakout above 1.01 with volume is what matters. And below, the real reversal only becomes clear if 0.984 fails to hold. Let it pick a side—waiting is more comfortable than rushing.
