$CYS The order book has already paved the way for the short sellers! Sell orders are piled up into a wall, while the buy-side thickness is less than half of it. Every rebound that tries to push higher is nothing more than the sell side’s prepared net. On the spot market, the sell-side book depth pins the buy-side so low it can’t lift its head: the number of orders placed doubles as they stack higher, and even the price spread is so thin it’s practically meaningless—just part of the “load-to-distribute” performance. One more trade and you’re buried with it. On the futures side, the basis has collapsed to scraps, the premium benefit of futures is drained dry, and the longs can’t even hold onto the last bit of price advantage. The answer to this setup has long been written into the sell orders.
