The Pasteur hard fork is confirmed to activate the mainnet on August 25 at 02:30 UTC.
This isn’t just a simple “speedup”—it upgrades both security and performance together:
① Strengthened cross-chain security
Prevents the same validator from being counted more than once, closing validation vulnerabilities.
② Upgraded validator permissions
After validator key rotation, permissions will be revoked more completely.
③ Further performance improvements
Testnet TPS increases from 1,237 to 2,324, an improvement of nearly 88%.
