NVIDIA’s latest investment map revealed! Holds SpaceX shares worth $21 billion, remaining the second-largest single equity asset after Intel
Artificial intelligence chip giant NVIDIA (Nvidia) has filed its latest disclosure documents with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), for the first time fully disclosing its massive strategic investment holdings—drawing intense attention from the market.
According to the filing, as of the end of the second quarter, NVIDIA holds approximately 122.8 million Class A shares of Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX), owned by CEO Elon Musk. The shares are valued at a book value of as much as $21 billion, making it the second-largest single equity holding after Intel. The stake originated from NVIDIA’s $10 billion strategic investment in xAI earlier this year; it was then converted into equity following the merger of SpaceX and xAI.
On NVIDIA’s investment rankings, the largest holding remains Intel, with the market value reaching as high as $30 billion by the end of the second quarter. Market analysis suggests that as Musk announced that SpaceX’s future data centers will fully and exclusively adopt NVIDIA chips, the two companies’ close alliance in capital and technology is further strengthening NVIDIA’s dominant position in the global AI ecosystem.
