€1 billion in revenue at one exchange rate → $1.10 billion.

With a different exchange rate, the same €1 billion can already turn into $1.05 billion.

The company didn’t lose anything in euros, but the dollar reporting looks different.

That’s why, with a strong move in $AAPLB, $NVDAB, or $METAB, I wouldn’t limit myself to the question “what happened to the price?”

I would also check three more things:

— where the company generates its revenue;
— which currencies it earns in and spends in;
— how much the exchange-rate change could have affected the reported figures.

Tokenization changes the way you access an asset.

But the currency structure of the underlying business doesn’t disappear anywhere.

Sometimes a chart shows a stock’s movement, and the cause is actually found in the FX market.
