#bstockscis GOOGLB on Binance or the same token on Kraken — what’s the difference besides the exchange name?🤔
Before I started buying bStocks here, I compared three options — Binance, Kraken (xStocks), and Robinhood. Turns out the difference isn’t just in the brand.
1️⃣ Different network and infrastructure: bStocks run on BNB Chain, issued by BTech Holdings (affiliated with Binance); xStocks run on Solana, issued by an independent company Backed Finance; Robinhood uses its own Layer 2 and issues the tokens itself.
2️⃣ Different counterparty risk: with bStocks you trust one chain (Binance → BTech → custodian), with xStocks you add another independent issuer between the exchange and you.
3️⃣ By volume as of August 2026: bStocks have just overtaken xStocks — about $610M vs $601M, even though they launched a few years later (Binance’s first attempt in this space was back in 2021). Both are still behind Ondo Finance (~$927M).
🧮 Here are the calculations I came up with:
The withdrawal fee from Binance to a personal wallet on BNB Chain — pennies, on Solana via Kraken about the same. The difference isn’t in the price, but in how many platforms you’ll have to keep open in parallel if you diversify across several exchanges — that’s where separate KYC and a wallet for each network come in.
Personally, I stayed with bStocks😎🤫, what will you choose👇?
