ngl i've been kinda keeping tabs on Dusk for a few months now. not in a super technical way or anything, just checking their updates, testnet stuff, whatever pops up on my feed. and tbh something's been bugging me lately.
everyone keeps screaming about RWAs and "institutions are coming" and all that. okay fine. but barely anyone talks about the actual thing stopping real money from entering — compliance vs privacy. like how is a bank supposed to put client data on a public chain?? they'd get rekt by regulators instantly. they literally cannot ignore compliance just because decentralization sounds cool. that gap between TradFi and DeFi has always been the real issue. always.
that's why Dusk stood out to me honestly. the way they're using ZK proofs not just for privacy but still keeping things compliant... i mean that's actually hard to do. most projects just pick one side and ignore the other. dusk seems to be trying to actually solve both at the same time. and that's rare af.
idk maybe i'm wrong. but watching how they move during market dips, how the team communicates, what they actually ship... it's been reassuring so far. not saying it's guaranteed or anything, obviously nothing is. but from what i've seen, they're building something that actually makes sense long term.
