The Theta scam is a crypto that claims to have partnerships with the largest company in Europe, TMOBILE, and with Amazon, but it’s false—they have no associations.
theta created a fake Twitter page for T-Mobile and Amazon with only about 8,000 followers per page, and with the logos of these two major companies. But in reality, T-Mobile on Twitter has 1.3 million followers, and Amazon has 5.8 million.
And if you go directly to the website dedicated to nodes and web3, theta doesn’t appear—only TMOBILE. It shows that it has a partnership with Ethereum and it mentions Bitcoin and Chainlink and three more, but theta isn’t there. And with Amazon, they’re public—go in to the official site and request customer support, and they will send you to the specialized department for the topic. They will confirm to you that they have nothing to do with theta, and TMOBILE will give you the official page of the crypto they actually have, but theta isn’t included.
And these Theta people only created fake Twitter pages—it didn’t seem strange to them that all this time, when they mention big, old companies, they only have 7,000 or 9,000 followers, while the real ones have millions.
So it’s another scam in the cryptocurrency world $THETA . I truly, after investigating, sold everything without fear and at a loss because I know that when a token becomes a scam, it drops hard. The owners try to pump the price so it goes up, but only for about 2 or 3 days, and then the disaster comes.
Advice: do your research and sell everything only if you want—it’s not mandatory to sell. But me, with years of experience and deep research, I already sold... you’ll decide whether to sell or stay...
