Scammers pose as recruiters, offer jobs, conduct fake interviews, and send a test assignment with malicious software.
If an employee runs it on their work computer, hackers may gain access to corporate systems and withdraw crypto.
In one such case, using the employee’s work computer, the attackers bypassed MFA, penetrated the company’s internal infrastructure, and stole $11.8m. The name of the affected project is not disclosed.
