At an investor day in New York, SanDisk disclosed that it will adopt a new business model, including a structured pricing mechanism and prepayment agreements with large customers. JPMorgan said the framework is expected to improve the company’s profit margins and reduce business cyclicality. SanDisk has already signed eight related long-term agreements; based on the contractual price floor, the total contract value is approximately $94 billion, with a weighted average contract term of more than four years.
