Hardware wallet manufacturer Trezor disclosed on August 13 that its third-party fulfillment logistics provider, ShipMonk, suffered an unauthorized access incident. About 13,700 customers’ order information was leaked, including the full names, email addresses, phone numbers, and complete delivery addresses of 11,742 people. The affected shipments involved delivery recipients in multiple countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Brazil, from May 10 to August 10. Trezor said its own systems and devices were not compromised and that private key security remains intact, but it warned that phishing and impersonation risks are increasing. It also plans to launch anonymous delivery in the EU in September. The incident highlights blind spots in self-custodied supply chains and physical security. $BTC is for informational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice.
