ETH is currently around 1885u—it's still grinding upward while sticking near the recent low of 1862. First, the conclusion: at this spot, I’ll continue to observe. I won’t chase longs, and I’m not in a hurry to bottom-fish.

The awkward part is that emotion and price don’t match. The news flow looks excellent across the board—ETF inflows, filings related to staking, banks loosening trading access. Among KOL sentiment, the bullish posts outnumber the bearish ones by nearly 3 to 1; sentiment is graded into “strongly positive,” above 7. But what about price? It’s been grinding for almost a day inside the box between 1862 and 1893, and it simply won’t break out. This isn’t an emotion problem anymore—it’s about how much people are actually calling for it versus whether the money is really following.

On the money side, it’s even clearer when you break it down. Over the past three hours overall it’s net inflow, which looks like capital is returning. But if you split out the large orders, the recent candles have all been net outflows. The “return” is mostly small orders—real money is still heading out. The derivatives side is similar: taker buys taking up about 40%, the aggressive long/short ratio is 0.68, with sellers pressing down on buyers. Short-term follow-through is weak. Relying only on sentiment means price can only churn around inside the range.

The technical picture hasn’t been repaired either. The moving averages are still caught in a dead cross, MACD is weak, and ADX is only 16.5—plainly, there’s no trend. ATR is elevated though, meaning volatility is expanding without a clear direction. In this kind of structure, whether a break happens above 1893 or below 1862 will ultimately be decided by the capital.

So my stance is very direct: I’m not betting on either side right now. Chasing longs? There’s resistance at 1893 overhead—once you buy, you may get slapped back and forth. Bottom-fishing? 1862 hasn’t been broken, but big orders haven’t returned—so why should anyone catch the bottom? Just wait. The day that volume expands and holds above 1893, and large orders flip positive—that will be a different story. Until then, this kind of range-bound grind inside the box doesn’t deserve my action.
