๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ The battle to succeed Trump in 2028 has already begun

Even though more than two years still remain before the Republican primaries, the fight over the future of the MAGA movement is already starting to take shape. JD Vance is emerging as the natural heir to Donald Trump, while Marco Rubio is gaining weight as an alternative with a higher institutional profile and international experience. Further back, names such as Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Ron DeSantis, Pete Hegseth, Donald Trump Jr., and Nikki Haley appear. Even Tucker Carlson is beginning to surface as a potential candidate who could challenge the MAGA electorate from a critical position regarding some of the decisions made by the current administration.

The major unknown for 2028 will be whether the Republican Party will choose someone who doubles down on Trumpism or if it will finally work to build a new political identity after Trump.
