At the beginning of the year, when I was working on the @Dusk creative task, I spent a long time digging through materials—breaking things down piece by piece from privacy computing, to compliance in finance, and then to the on-chain logic for RWA implementation. Fortunately, I managed to get a reward of more than 100 U, and I’m hoping I can make it this time as well.

Someone asked: “For an old project like DUSK, is there still a chance for the market to see it again?” Honestly, back then, market attention was focused on AI, Meme, and all kinds of high-yield narratives. RWA wasn’t the hottest direction. But I feel that when capital truly looks for the next stage of infrastructure, some low-profile projects may come back into view.

In my view, if the main theme of the next bull cycle really is RWA, then Dusk could be that easily overlooked hidden player. Most people understand RWA as “moving stocks, bonds, and funds on-chain,” but the real difficulty is why financial institutions would be willing to go on-chain. Privacy, regulation, identity verification, and trade compliance—these are the biggest hurdles in traditional finance.

Dusk’s approach is rather special. It doesn’t simply chase public-chain performance. Instead, it builds infrastructure around the compliance-focused financial markets, using zero-knowledge proofs, privacy-preserving transactions, and verifiable compliance mechanisms—so that asset issuers, investors, and regulators can find a balance. I think this route is actually closer to the real, future needs of turning securities markets on-chain.

On the competitive front, the Ethereum RWA ecosystem and the deployments by major traditional-finance players will create pressure. But Dusk’s advantage lies in this niche: “privacy + compliance.” The market loves chasing hype, yet often overlooks the fact that financial infrastructure requires long-term accumulation—that’s also a trap many retail investors fall into.

Currently, around the $DUSK price of $0.06, with a market cap in the neighborhood of around $30 million, it’s still far from its all-time high. But low liquidity over the long term is also a risk. If ecosystem growth doesn’t materialize, token value capture may fall short of expectations, and the price will be easily affected by market sentiment.

In my opinion, DUSK’s biggest appeal isn’t the short-term upside. It’s whether the problem it’s betting on will become one that the future financial industry must solve. What’s truly worth watching is whether the scale of RWA assets, progress in institutional partnerships, and the tokenomics model can form a closed loop. For retail investors, instead of blindly chasing the next hot trend, it may be better to pay attention to infrastructure that nobody talks about but could end up determining the direction of the next cycle. #dusk #BTC
