#bstockscis someone asked if they could borrow against their bStocks collateral position the way you can with some crypto assets. Short answer: no, and worth knowing why before you assume otherwise. 🔒

bStocks collateral works one direction only — you can post eligible tokens to back Cross Margin or Portfolio Margin positions, but borrowing bStocks themselves isn't supported. Access is also gated to VIP 3 and above, in approved jurisdictions specifically. Deposit-only, tiered access, no lending market sitting on top of it. 🚫

That's a meaningfully more conservative design than a lot of crypto-native collateral systems, probably intentional given these are certificates over real regulated securities rather than a native token.
