🐋 A giant whale is at it again! Multi-million-dollar HYPE is moving to trading platforms!
On-chain data shows that a whale/whale institutional address has recently transferred about 923,700 HYPE tokens to Coinbase Prime and FalconX, worth approximately $53.03 million. 💰
Earlier, the same address had staked 2.886 million HYPE tokens in early last year, with an average cost of about $19.79.
By the end of July, this batch of HYPE began to be unstaked and then gradually transferred out.
So far, the address has cumulatively sent out about 1.956 million HYPE tokens, valued at roughly $110 million, for an overall profit of about $109 million! 🔥
However, here’s the interesting part:
Even after these large transfers, the address still holds around 969,000 HYPE tokens, worth about $55.73 million.
What does that mean?
It suggests the whale isn’t doing an “all-at-once sell-off”—more like adjusting funds and managing returns. 👀
Many people see large inflows to exchanges and immediately think:
“Is it preparing to dump?”
But the reasons behind on-chain fund movements are often more complex—it could be profit-taking, or it could be reallocating assets.
What the market truly needs to watch isn’t just how much the whale sold, but how much it still has left, and where the funds go next.
In the crypto world:
🐳 Whale moves are worth keeping an eye on
🧠 But don’t judge the market based on just one action
Understanding the logic of the funds matters more than blindly following. 🚀
