After a follower lost 4,000u, I had him rely on this method—and he’s already achieved a turnaround
Last month, a follower came to me: Bro, I played futures with 4,000u and lost it all. Is there any way to recover? $EDEN
I didn’t ask too many details. I just had him review the reasons for his losses: all-in bets, chasing rallies and selling at peaks, catching bottoms against the trend... These are all major taboos. He basically stepped on every one of them.
Then I shared with him a basic framework for how to open positions when trading futures:
① Buy 20% first
② If you buy wrong and lose 10%, immediately stop out—the loss amount is 2% of the total position
③ If you’re right and profit 10%, immediately add 20%; then if it rises another 10%, add another 20%; finally add directly another 40%. Expand the winning results. Then hold as long as you haven’t hit a 10% loss. Once it drops 10%, close the entire position immediately. $AKE
That’s basically the core idea: keep risk as low as possible, similar to the “King of Speculation” Livermore.
Of course, this is just a rough framework. In actual implementation, you’ll definitely run into many uncertainties, because the market is constantly changing. $SCRT
I often use this method during my own trades. Overall, the results so far are still pretty good—but it’s not 100% guaranteed. It’s mainly about reducing risk and improving your win rate.
When trading futures, you must have a method; otherwise, you’ll just end up being a pawn.
If you’re still confused and unsure how to place trades, and you want to completely say goodbye to losses, turn things around, and get back on solid ground by 2026—with steady profits—then come to the chatroom and find me. Let’s go together!
