What if privacy in financial markets didn’t mean sacrificing transparency?
That’s the part of DuskEVM I find genuinely interesting.
You get a familiar EVM environment for builders, but Dusk is also working on confidential workflows through Hedger — using homomorphic encryption and zero-knowledge proofs to make privacy usable without turning the system into a black box.
And that matters.
Because regulated finance doesn’t need “hide everything” privacy.
It needs the ability to protect sensitive information and reveal the right information to the right authorized party when required.
That’s a very different approach.
Then you look at what Dusk is building around tokenized assets, regulated securities and onchain settlement, and the bigger picture starts making sense.
The hard part of bringing real financial markets onchain isn’t putting a token on a blockchain.
It’s building infrastructure institutions can actually work with.
That’s why I’m watching DuskEVM closely.
