$EDEN rose 68%, but small-cap coins like NFP and PHB still crashed 60%+—what does that mean?
The market doesn’t have any real “broad-based rally” logic at all. It’s basically just a liquidation/bleeding market.
First, look at EDEN: a 12.2M volume accompanied by a 68% increase. That price-volume relationship looks like a dealer/whales’ self-directed show. Without any major news catalyst, pumping that hard in a short period is most likely the project team or a market maker pumping to distribute. I wouldn’t chase it—going in is basically catching a falling knife.
Next, NFP: it dropped 66%, then got slashed again—down to half and then half again. This kind of selloff isn’t a normal pullback; it’s a liquidity black hole. Either the project team is dumping, or it’s a chain reaction caused by liquidations of leveraged long positions. The price is already at 0.00181. It looks cheap, but there’s still a basement below the floor.
BTC is holding above 63,000 and consolidating, and funding is still positive—bulls and bears are still fighting. In this kind of market, sudden moves in small coins are more often driven by project-specific factors. Don’t treat them as an opportunity to bottom-fish.
Which one are you watching? Have you stepped into any of these traps?
