📊 This week I’ve been digging into bStocks — and I’m ready to share what hidden snag I ran into.

Usually I don’t grab the first ticker — I check whether there are documents (ADGM/FSRA prospectus). But yesterday I bought GameStop just for fun — the legendary meme stock from 2021, about which even a movie was made. While I was at it, I decided to check: is the 1:1 conversion really without any fees.

First, I bought the direct GME share on Binance Stock Trading, then I transferred it to $GMEB via Nest Trading Limited.

There truly were no fees. But the stock is calculated with precision up to 9 decimal places, while bStock is only up to 8. The last digit doesn’t fit into the token and stays with the issuer as the rounding difference. The resulting balance $GMEB turned out slightly smaller — not because of fees, but due to a technical limitation.

The difference is tiny, less than a tenth of a cent, but if you don’t know it in advance, it’s easy to think it’s a mistake.

If it’s not crucial to have a direct share — I recommend buying bStock with USDT right away, so you avoid rounding during conversion.

Have you noticed this quirk? 👀
