Alphabet in the list #bStocksCIS first scrolled through without looking — yeah, a search engine, ads, the whole familiar thing, what’s new.
Then I paused: with one token, you get exposure not just to “search,” but to the entire infrastructure that currently sits behind AI — from data centers to proprietary models. Before, getting access required a brokerage account, documents, and waiting. Now it’s just a couple of taps in an app that many already have on their phones.
And this is where I got stuck: the token trades on weekends, when Nasdaq itself is asleep and the stock is physically traded nowhere. So what, at that moment, does the price actually reflect — the expectations of the broader market, or just the mood of that specific audience that’s online right now?
Making access easier is definitely a good thing. But whether it’s now simpler to make a well-considered decision to buy, or whether it just lowers the threshold for an impulsive tap — I haven’t decided for myself yet.
