📊 2026.8.14 BTC Next plan: first watch 62,200, then wait for a rebound to sell from the high

Let me talk about the next steps.

This part looks like it’s falling hard, but in reality it’s only a little over a thousand points, and the process hasn’t been smooth. My view is that for this round of short-term decline, we should first look around 62,000—more specifically, 62,200.

If the price reaches 62,200, I will close all my short-term short positions, while keeping the long-term shorts with lower leverage. You can also try a rebound long entry here, but treat it only as a short-term trade; opening a long position won’t change my overall bearish view.

The long plan is simple: observe and enter around 62,200, with a stop loss 1,500 points below the entry cost. For the upside, I’d see at most 64,800 first. When it’s time to exit, exit—don’t imagine the rebound as a reversal.

There’s also an alternative short strategy. On the 4-hour level, there’s still a gap around 64,500—65,000 above. Around 64,500 there’s also liquidity. If later it truly rebounds back there, I will consider placing a short order around 65,000, with a stop loss at 66,500. Take-profit will be decided based on how strong the subsequent drop is at that time.

So these two sets of plans don’t conflict:

First, see whether there’s support at 62,200—if there is, do a rebound trade for a while. If the rebound reaches 64,500—65,000, then look for another opportunity to short again. If it doesn’t reach the levels, wait—don’t chase or sell in the middle.
