I started paying attention to @dusk not because $DUSK is Layer 1 privacy, but because of a specific detail: DuskEVM is about to go live on mainnet, and it doesn’t dodge the biggest privacy-chain issue—how to be confidential while still being reviewable by regulators.
Most EVM-compatible chains solve privacy by hiding everything. Dusk does it differently. DuskEVM brings builders in through the familiar Solidity path, but runs a confidential workflow via Hedger—its dedicated privacy module for the EVM. Hedger uses homomorphic encryption combined with zero-knowledge proofs. That means data remains encrypted during computation, yet it still leaves room for selective disclosure for authorized parties to verify.
