Wheat on Euronext slips from a two-week high after truce reports
Euronext wheat prices fell from their two-week peak on Thursday, following reports that Kyiv proposed a ceasefire in attacks on civilian targets in the Black Sea, easing concerns about a possible disruption to wheat exports from Russia and Ukraine.

The December wheat futures contract BL2Z6, the most active on Euronext, rose 0.10% to €233.25 ($269.08) per metric ton by 18:41 Saudi time. The contract had earlier reached €237.25, its highest level since 30/07.

September forward contracts BL2U6 saw greater price fluctuations during the session. The front-month contract initially climbed as much as 3.70% to €228.75, its highest level since 31/07, before slipping from its trajectory after reports emerged of Ukraine’s ceasefire proposal in the Black Sea.
