Simply put, traditional blockchain broadcast messages are like shouting at the top of your lungs in a public square: nodes relay to one another—slow, and it exposes the transmission path. Kadcast, on the other hand, is like building a precise, parcel-delivery network in the dark web: it breaks heavy proofs into efficient deliveries, ensuring transaction secrecy while avoiding consensus stalls caused by nodes being unable to move the data.
Honestly, a route like $DUSK that hard-wires compliance and privacy together is extremely rebellious—one wrong step and it can end up pleasing neither side. But the technical reality is just that harsh: if underlying transmission efficiency can’t be solved, no matter how flashy the upper-layer financial business logic is, it’s just talk on paper.
