My understanding of #bStocksCIS na @BinanceCIS i that what the documentation showed turned out to be not one and the same.

This discrepancy really bothered me.

As for the myth about the “fake promotion” — there is some sense to it. Legally, this is not the promotion itself, but a certificate. It is backed by an underlying promotion on a 1:1 basis. The token provides economic exposure to the price and dividends, but without voting rights and other shareholder privileges. So the myth is not entirely refuted; it’s just phrased inaccurately. However, the claim about unclear “asset custody” holds far less weight than the first objection. The backing is held with a regulated custodian, and it can be verified on-chain via the Proof of Collateral page—with real numbers, not the company’s promises.

But what affected me the most personally was the third myth about “slow settlements, like with a regular broker.” Sources say something completely different. Trading and settlement here happen continuously, unlike the traditional model with pauses on T+1 or T+2.

None of these objections turned out to be as simple as it seemed at first. In my opinion, once I looked into the documents, it becomes clearly impossible to take these myths at face value anymore.
