Crypto Morning Brief — Aug 13

$BTC is still sitting around $63.5K after the latest U.S. CPI came in roughly in line with expectations.

No breakout. No panic. Just more waiting.

And honestly, I think that's the most interesting part of this market right now.

While prices remain stuck in a range, institutional crypto infrastructure keeps moving forward.

Goldman Sachs just agreed to acquire NEOS Investments for up to $2.25B, giving it exposure to a business that already runs Bitcoin and Ethereum income ETFs.

Fidelity is also moving to add staking to its Ethereum ETF, potentially allowing investors to receive quarterly distributions generated from staking rewards.

Meanwhile, sentiment is still firmly in Fear territory.

So we have a strange setup:

Price → boring.
Retail sentiment → weak.
Institutional infrastructure → still expanding.

For me, that's more interesting than trying to predict every $500 move in Bitcoin.

The next real catalyst probably won't come from another crypto headline.

It'll come from the Fed, liquidity or regulation.

Until then, $BTC holding the current range matters more than the noise.
