Metaplanet, a Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed company in Japan, has launched a new continuous bond issuance program called BitBonds and completed its first private placement bond issuance. According to Foresight News, the issuance date was August 13, 2026, and the total amount was about 200 million yen.
The bonds were issued in four tranches as unsecured ordinary corporate bonds from the 21st to the 24th series. The maturity is about three years, with an interest rate range of 4.0% to 4.3%.
