#bstockscis @BinanceCIS I usually don’t rush to try new financial instruments just because they’ve become popular. First, it’s interesting to figure out for yourself what it is and why it’s needed at all.
Lately, that’s exactly why I’ve been taking a closer look at Binance BStocks. An interesting example is $SKHYB , a tokenized asset linked to SK Hynix. The company is especially interesting to me because of semiconductors and the enormous demand for memory in today’s AI infrastructure.
But what interested me more here was the format itself. Instead of a conventional stock, we have a token that works within Binance’s crypto infrastructure and can be traded around the clock. At the same time, Binance states that SKHYB is backed by real shares 1:1.
In my opinion, examples like this clearly show why tokenization is needed in the first place. Traditional assets are gradually gaining the characteristics we’re used to in the crypto world.
For now, I’m just watching how BStocks develops. But the direction is truly interesting—especially considering how many new opportunities could emerge at the intersection of the stock market and blockchain.
