They say the clone season is about to come, but I checked the market—it's not enough to support that claim.
BTC has been flat at 63.6k, DOGE surged yesterday and then fell today, and PEPE just sprawled back down onto the floor—this isn’t rotation, it’s bleeding each other dry.
I’ll be blunt: in the short term, I’m bearish on the clones—especially calling out PEPE. A real clone season should bring in incremental new capital. Right now, it’s all just existing money moving between coins. After it moves, it drops. The more violently it rises, the harder it falls.
Unless BTC breaks out on volume and holds above 64,500 to open up room, within a week I don’t think PEPE will return to 0.00000286 (per 1 coin). And the whole clone sector will continue to underperform BTC.
The idea that leaders huddle together doesn’t mean it’s a sector-wide行情—it’s been proven wrong far too many times.
