This one isn’t simple.
$PHB just got hammered—down nearly 70% at a 0.015 price point. In a single day, it dropped to bargain-bin levels. I checked the trading volume: only about $1.5 million. This wasn’t dragged down by the broader market. Even BTC just wobbled by around 0.2%. This kind of drop is basically the project team dumping, or a chain of liquidations wiping out contracts. Bottom-fishing? Do you really think the “whales” will give you a chance to get out at a better price?
$NFP is even worse—down 66% and going. Trading volume is the biggest among these, about $3.8 million. But this kind of liquidity can’t absorb the supply. You think it’s a dip to buy, but really you’re catching a thrown knife. The funding rate is 0.0071%, and BTC shorts aren’t especially疯狂 either. This wasn’t caused by shorts dumping it.
DEGO, ATA, and others are also down starting from 50%.
Overall it looks like a liquidity crisis in smaller coins. While BTC stayed stable and didn’t really move, these “sh**coin” projects with no buyers left just got hit by a stampede.
My take: don’t touch it. This isn’t a correction—it’s an accident. Wait for the project team to come out with statements, or for it to stabilize and trade sideways. Going in now isn’t investing—it’s handing over money.
Have any of you been caught in one of these?
