Are bStocks actually a stock or a token?
Many of us are among those who get confused. Some see “tokenized stocks” and think to themselves that they bought a token and therefore already became a shareholder in Tesla or NVIDIA. In reality, it’s not like that.
bStocks are essentially certificates in the form of a token on the BNB chain.
Behind each one is a real U.S. stock held by a custodian.
One-to-one.
The price moves together, dividends are somehow accounted for automatically. But you are not in the shareholder register. You can’t vote.
This isn’t your share in the company.
You can trade 24/7, withdraw it to your wallet, and even convert it back into a stock if allowed.
Convenient. But it’s still not the same as buying a stock directly through a broker.
The difference matters. Because having an economic exposure is one thing, and being an owner is quite another.#bstockscis @BinanceCIS $NVDAB
