【BTC returns above 63,500, but why is it still hard to do around 64,000?】
BTC on the hourly timeframe is showing a rebound, but for now I don’t interpret it as a renewed uptrend.
The reason is simple:
Even though the price is back above 63,500, it hasn’t truly reclaimed 64,000 yet;
64,000—64,400 is still a resistance zone that needs confirmation;
The perpetual contract funding rate remains positive, and long accounts still make up the majority, indicating the market hasn’t completed sufficient sentiment clearing.
This is also the easiest place to misread things right now:
A rebound doesn’t mean the resistance has already been lifted.
If the rebound doesn’t come with more sustained trading and funding cooperation, the closer it gets to 64,000—64,400, the more likely it will meet profit-taking.
For the short term, treat it as ranging slightly downward.
Watch support at 63,200; if that area can’t hold stably, the market will still need to keep observing how it reacts around 62,500.
To the upside, it’s not as simple as “touching 64,000” to count as strength—the key is whether it can effectively reclaim and hold above the resistance zone below 64,400.
There’s no rush today to guess direction; first, see whether the rebound has quality.
Do you think this is a normal rebound after a drop, or is there still a chance to reclaim resistance?
