In response to the devastation caused by the recent earthquake in Colombia, Binance Charity will donate 650,000 dollars in 20 USDT token vouchers and will waive P2P transaction fees in COP for 7 days to help Binance users living in areas affected by the tragedy.

For the token vouchers, users’ identification will be based on the Proof of Address (POA) and KYC completed before August 11, 2026 in the most affected areas of Valle del Cauca (Cali), Risaralda (Pereira), Caldas (Manizales), and Chocó (Quibdó). Users who have completed the POA before this date in the area will each receive 20 USDT in token vouchers in their Reward Hub.

New users who created a Binance account after August 11, 2026 are not eligible for the program.

We recognize that many users in the affected region may not have completed the POA or KYC yet. Therefore, for existing users who complete the POA or KYC from August 11, 2026 up to August 25, 2026 (23:59 UTC -3), we will issue 20 USDT to their accounts up to the total donation allocation limit.

Users will receive the funds within a maximum of 30 days from the day they complete their POA.

Binance will also waive P2P fees for 7 days, until August 18, 2026 (23:59 UTC -3). This applies to all transactions denominated in COP.

In these difficult times, Binance is with its users, and we will continue working on additional ways to help our community in Colombia. In the past, Binance Charity has also provided support to users in countries such as Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Ukraine, Turkey, Libya, Morocco, Taiwan, and Italy.
