$ETH hasn’t gone up that much—the contract has basically played out the show first.

Spot is only $343.18M a day, yet the contract goes straight up to $5285.64M; 15.4x is right there, but the price just keeps hovering in the relatively narrow $1853 to $1915 range.

I’m bullish.

This time Fidelity isn’t just making a big announcement for the buzz—it wants to take holding $ETH ’s “lie down and collect yield” model and move it into an ETF, with quarterly dividends as well.

The funding rate is only +0.0076%—not exactly scorching. But positions have already stacked up to 2,300,455 units of $ETH .

That’s pretty interesting: on the chart, everyone’s talking tough, but their positions are getting stuffed in first.

The opposing side has a point too. The fund is keeping 85% for the collateral rewards—sounds like a bit of a bite. And the spot price hasn’t really looked like it’s ripping either; in 24 hours it’s only +1.03%.

But think about it: Wall Street is already figuring out how to package $ETH into an “income-generating asset,” while the market still treats it as a pure narrative coin. Is that really a good fit?

If you lose, don’t cue me. If you profit, buy me a cup of coffee.
