Institutional capital keeps adding to HYPE! Bitwise buys in over $5 million in a week—markets are refocusing on Hyperliquid
Bitwise’s HYPE investment products under its umbrella have been steadily attracting capital. In the past week alone, client buys of HYPE were worth over $5 million, and since August they have only bought and never sold.
The signal is quite direct: institutional attention to HYPE is still heating up. After HYPE-related ETFs saw a period of fund outflows, net inflows have recently returned. Bitwise’s products have even become one of the main sources of incremental demand.
Put simply, while retail investors are still debating whether the market is going up or down, institutions have already begun gradually adding positions. For HYPE, continued funding inflows from institutional products also mean it is gradually moving from being merely a popular altcoin to becoming a more mature crypto asset allocation target.
Of course, inflows don’t necessarily mean the price will rise—especially since HYPE itself is fairly volatile. But from a liquidity perspective, the fact that institutions have returned at least suggests that market focus on Hyperliquid’s long-term development has not gone away.
The market can swing back and forth, but capital doesn’t lie. If institutions are starting to buy again, the story behind what’s next for HYPE may only be beginning.
