【The moment ETH dropped to 1888—what I was thinking】

To be honest, the number 1888 is pretty ironic.

Not because it’s low—because this price is too familiar to me. In the 2021 bull run, this number wasn’t even enough to reach my stop-loss. Now it’s turned into a “severely undervalued zone.” The market has never really changed; what’s changed is only the speed at which I’m losing money.

First, let’s talk about the Sharplink loss of <$ 394M>. A 23% drop in ETH, resulting in a loss of this magnitude—what does that mean? It means institutions aren’t a single solid block. They’ve got positions they can’t hold, and they’ve also been forced into passive cuts. This isn’t “institutional bull” or “institutional bear.” It’s institutions using their own holdings to tell you: everyone’s out of spare capacity—so don’t laugh at anyone.

Russia is talking about opening up ETH trading? My first reaction isn’t “good news.” It’s “how would they play once they step in?” When the regular forces enter, they aren’t playing with the candlestick chart—they’re playing with compliance and liquidity. By the time they truly settle in, the overall picture will have already changed. The people calling it bullish now are the same ones who called “institutional bulls” back in 2021.

BTC held at <$ 65K> for four days and still didn’t hold; ETH followed down. BTC dominance at 56.5% is right there—it shows the funds are still hiding in BTC. ETH isn’t the main battlefield. Trading volume is active, but “active” doesn’t necessarily mean someone is propping it up.

FNG is at 29—no real difference from last week. The Fear crowd keeps fearing, the greedy crowd… is waiting for me to make a mistake.

Where am I stuck? I’m stuck knowing that this level isn’t expensive, but my old injury tells me “it’s not cheap enough” and “it hasn’t finished dropping” are two different things. I thought the same way when I was trapped back in 2017.

You ask me what mindset I have? I’m watching whether BTC can defend <$ 65K>. If it holds, ETH may get a chance to breathe; if it doesn’t, 1888 might still have to go lower.

What about you? In this round, are you brave enough? Are you feeling restless?
